Wonderful Iowa
As I grow older I am also growing to appreciate what Iowa has to offer. Though I complain about the cold (and the heat), I think Iowa is a pretty fantastic place. The people are friendly, laid-back, and fun. And even in the big cities there is an abundance of grass, trees, and flowers. But mostly Iowa is land, beautiful dynamic land. My family and I are going to visit all of Iowa's 144 state parks in the next 5 years (give or take), from Ambrose A Call to Yellow River State Forest to explore all of this great state's natural wonderland. We will be sharing our journeys through photographs (including some taken by my three-year-old son), historical information, and wildlife descriptions. Welcome to our adventures!
